    Jacob “yay” Whiteaker (OpTic yay) is an American player who was previously playing for OpTic Gaming. He is a former Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) professional player. For a long time, he was inactive in the Gaming community.

    But, today OpTic yay made an end to the speculations and suspense with a tweet. Today, OpTic yay came to Twitter announcing his retirement from Esports. Along with that, he also announced that he will be transitioning to the new Valorant Mobile very soon.

    I know it’s been a suspenseful past few weeks but after countless meetings with many teams I’ve made my decision.

    I will be officially retiring and pursuing the upcoming VALORANT mobile game. thank you and hope you continue to support me.

    He recently got the 2nd position in VALORANT Champions 2022 with a prize of $150,000.
