    India Gaming Awards 2022 winners list

    Indian gaming community and ecosystem has been growing over the time, and we’ve seen exponential growth in last few years. There are many people who acted as pillars of the Indian Gaming community. To award such people, IWM Buzz an online publication organized India Gaming Awards 2022 for. In the India Gaming Awards event, the awards were given on the basis of public voting and the performance of Gaming Industry members in last one year.

    The Loco India Gaming Awards presented by KFC and Loco and co-powered by MX Player has announced the winners on 18th September 2022.

    India Gaming Awards : Jury Members

    The India Gaming awards had announced their Jury members a week before the event. The Jury members consist of industry experts and some very important members of the Indian Gaming community. Here’s the list of Jury members:

    • Ashwin Suresh – Founder, Loco
    • Rishi Alwani – Communications Manager, Super Gaming
    • Anita Kotwani – CEO, Carat India
    • Dr Annurag Batra – Chairman & Editor-in-Chief, BWBusinessworld
    • Devesh Kabdwal – CRO, BOOM Esports
    • Vinit Karnik – Head of Sports, Esports & Entertainment, Group M South Asia
    • Sidharth Kedia – CEO, NODWIN Gaming
    • Anurag Khurana – CEO & Founder, Penta Esports
    • Anirudh Pandita – Founder, Loco
    • Gurpreet Singh – COO & Co-Founder, One Digital Entertainment

    So, these were the jury members of India Gaming Awards 2022. Now let’s have a look at the winner of the awards in each category.

    Most Popular game of the Year

    Ludo King

    Most Popular Game of the year award won by Ludo king for the highest downloads in gaming category. Gametion Technologies Pvt Ltd, an Indian game development company situated in Navi Mumbai, India, created the free-to-play mobile gaming application. Owner of Gametion is Vikash Jaiswal. It is created using the Unity game engine and is accessible on the following operating systems: Android, iOS, Kindle, Windows Phone, and Microsoft Windows.Ludo king was selected as the Most popular game of the year by Jury members.

    Esports Organization of the Year

    S8UL

    S8UL won the Esports Organization of the year award for their huge achievement in the past year. S8UL BGMI esports lineup Team SOUL has been dominating since last year in almost every tournament. They recently won BMPS, the BGMI official tournament and also represented India in PUBG Mobile World Invitational(PMWI) securing 11th position out of 18 best teams in the world. PMWI event was organized in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. They were the strong contender for this Award title and eventually won the Esports Organization of the Year 2022 award.

    Most Popular eSports title of the Year

    Valorant

    Most popular eSports title of the year award was given to Valorant, which is a 5v5 character-based tactical FPS game where precise gunplay meets unique agent abilities. The craze of this game is immense among the gamers and the uniqueness of this game is the reason for the popularity and attracting audiences to the tournaments. This game is popular globally, and now it’s doing great in Indian gaming market.

    Game development studio of the year

    Ubisoft

    Ubisoft was awarded as game development studio of the year at India Gaming Awards for their contribution in gaming industry by launching games in multiple categories regularly and being connected by the audience. The India Gaming Awards jury decided to vote Ubisoft as the game development studio of the year.

    Esports Caster of the year

    Ocean Sharma

    eSports caster of the year Award winner was non-other than Ocean Sharma serving in the gaming industry from the beginning and had being the caster in almost every major PUBG / BGMI tournament from the beginning be it official or unofficial tournaments.

    Esports Athlete of the year

    Saumraj

    Saumya Raj popularly known with the gaming name “Saumraj” won the eSports Athlete of the year award for the extraordinary performance in the past one year. He is a player in the BGMI lineup of Skylightz gaming. Saumraj have recently won Battleground Mobile India Series(BMIS) under Skylightz Gaming. His has been assigned the role of in-game leader (IGL) in the team of Skylightz Gaming.

    Streamer of the year (Male)

    Mortal

    Naman Mathur aka Mortal won the streamer of the year award at India gaming awards. He is one of the pillars of Indian gaming community and won many regional tournaments with Team Soul. He also represented India in several international PUBG tournaments. Furthermore, he has huge fan following on YouTube, his streams are fun to watch as he plays various games in every category to entertain audience like Minecraft, Among us, Valorant, Fall guys and many more. He has also been nominated for the streamer of the year globally for the second year in a row.

    Streamer of the year (Female)

    Kassh Plays

    Female streamer of the year award won by Kaashvi Hiranandani (Kaash plays) as selected by the jury members for her fun streams of various games and entertaining audience throughout the year.

    Rising content creator of the year

    Eagle gaming

    Rising content creator of the year Award won by Eagle Gaming. Earlier he was PUBG streamer, but after the game banned in India he shifted to GTA 5 and that changed his life. He started playing GTA 5 thereafter and created content which no one was doing and after so much of hard work and dedication he finally won the rising content creator of the year Award.

    Impact performer of the year

    Mavi

    Harmandeep “Mavi” Singh, a talented player of BGMI. He is known for his extraordinary IGL skills and deep knowledge of the game BGMI he plays for Team Xspark. He is the winner of Impact performer of the year for his impactful performance in esports.

    Esports Tournament of the year

    BGIS

    Esports tournament of the year award was given to BGIS which was organized by the officials of BGMI as the first official event of Battleground mobile India ( BGMI )

    Fan favorite streamer of the year

    Dynamo gaming

    Dynamo gaming

    The fan favorite streamer of the year award winner is none other than Dynamo. The fan favorite award was decided by fan votes and not selected by Jury members. Dynamo has a huge fan base in gaming community and over 10 millions subs on his YouTube channel. He keeps his audience connected by streaming various games and creating content.

    Fan favourite streamer of the year (Female)

    Payal Gaming & Kani Gaming

    Fan favorite streamer of the year (female) award was given to two of the favorites for this title, Payal gaming and Kani Gaming.

    Fan favourite eSports athlete of the year

    scOut

    Fan favourite eSports athlete of the year award was won Tanmay “scOut” Singh, he’s the highest voted person for this title by the fans. scOut plays for Team Xspark, and recently he represented India at PMWI under 7 seas esports and won fan favorite player of that tournament.

    Fan favorite eSports game of the year

    Valorant

    Valorant was voted highest by the fans for this title and made a huge impact in the Indian gaming community by organizing various tournaments and opening doors of opportunities for the gamers to compete in India as well as across the globe.
